Ok so I have a really strong opinion about this. (hate me if you will)
This mother decided it would be OK to travel on the highway without her 3 children RESTRAINED!!!! Her children were 2, 3 and 6 years old
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? SERIOUS?
And due the stupidity of the mother. All 3 are dead. She was driving on the highway and SHE REAR ENDED A PARKED CAR (the car was parked due to the accident they had had about 1 hour earlier)
And because the children were not restrained they all were ejected from there seats THEY WERE ALL SUPPOSED TO BE IN CAR SEATS AND THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE SEATBELTS ON!!!
And then there car was rear ended by ANOTHER vehicle.
Other than whiplash the mother was fine. All of her children are dead.
AND THEN SHE HAS THE FUCKING NERVE TO GO ON TV AND TALK TO THE NEWSPAPERS THAT NOW SHE CAN GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND DO WHAT SHE HAS ALWAYS WANTED TO BUT CAN NOT BECAUSE OF HER CHILDREN.
Oh and because she as rear ended she's going to try to sue the guy who hit her so she can get the insurance money.

well isn't it AGAINST THE LAW to not have your child in a car seat restraint?!?!! i assume she'll be punished.. good god, you'd think living with that guilt would be punishment enough

Well in this state she would go to jail for negligent manslaughter! It is a crime, in fact it MAY be a felony, not sure, I will ask the hubby but I can tell you it IS a crime. Hopefully she will be using the prisons school system. Can you imagine what her hubby/kids father is going through right now?
I feel bad she lost her kids though but it does not seem that she cares. WHAT a crackhead. ANY way I lost my daughter I can tell you now I would be a COMPLETE wreck... "future? What future?" That is how I would feel. Seriously I am not sure I would want to go on living without her, especailly if I were to blame for her death.
What pisses me off is the poor man who hit her. I mean seriously, he probably feels like complete ASS and then to have her sue him because she was negligent! Horriable woman!

I've really got nothing more to add, except that it makes me sick that someone like that wouldn't feel some kind of remorse for what happened. She could still be in shock and in that case, people in shock say a lot of stupid things. There are a lot of stages of grief that make you say stupid and senseless things. In which case, you just don't go to news sources and say them.
But, even in knowing that, it still makes me sick.
Sigh. This lends credence to the old argument that if you need a license to drive, maybe you should need a license to do something far more important ... to be a parent. (I know, I know, of course it wouldn't work. But when you hear something like this...)
Well, I'm hoping she can get her GED in PRISON, because that's where her ass belonged. It HAS to be some serious penalties for your kids dying due to your negligence. Right?
Too bad DFS couldn't take her kids and save them before God had to.
there is a special spot in hell reserved for these people, i think. anyone with a soul would have been inconsolable.
jail is too nice. i vote life sentence. maximum security prison. solitary confinement.
