I have been thinking a lot lately about goals and things I would LOVE to see for the hubby and me. This is my list of the top things I would really like to do in my life.

2. Kiss under the Eiffel Tower.

3. Change someones life.

4. Volunteer more hours in a week than I work.

5. Take my family on an expense paid trip.

6. Go to the airport with a bag packed and get on a flight to where ever sounds great (with the hubby of coarse)

7. Volunteer for another disaster team.

8. Be a home owner.

9. Take a dream vacation to Fiji.

10. Learn sign language.

11. Learn another language.

12. Travel to India.

14. Influence a child's life.

15. Plan a wedding (or 10 year anniversary)

16. Take a cooking class.

17. Paint something for the walls in the living room.

18. Have a library in our house.

19. Spread my grandfathers ashes at duck lake where my grandmothers ashes were spread.

20. Take a dance class with the hubby.

21. Drive a Harley with my dad on the back.

Where are you going??

So in the last 2 days I have lost 4 followers... **sniff** I love followers.

I also have to start blogging regularly. I have missed it. A lot. Life has been SO busy there are HUGE changes (hopefully) coming up that I can not blog about yet......

Some super sad news...

A friend of mine just had a baby.....

Long story short at 30 weeks she went for a check up because of a HUGE amount of weight gain (up to this date everything was in check and the baby was growing properly) and they did an ultra sound and found that there was something wrong with the baby's brain. It was only growing in 2 quadrants and there was a bone growth on the top of her head.

They did a 1000 tests and gave mom and dad the grave news. That if the baby lived to be born would more than likely not live.

They advised her to carry to term (health permitting) and she did, she went full term and they scheduled a C-section.

They had a beautiful baby girl. They were blessed with 18 hours of life and the baby passed away in her mommy's arms.

Her name was Madelyn Born May 19th, 2010 and became an angle May 20th, 2010.

My heart is still hurting for her and her family. This was their first baby.

The funeral is on Friday and I am scared of how emotional I will be. I will try to be strong for mommy and Madelyn but this hits so close to home (how I have been told I can never carry to term)

I can not even imagine what they are going through...

What Not to Wear Wednesday!

Oh YES this is my Oklahoma City Version....

So funny story we asked the lady at the front desk of our hotel (she was 26) where a "hot spot" was to go and dance? We were dressed in jeans and just wanted to go out on have some fun! Well we got a little more than we bargained for!

Ugg these shoes! Y'all know how I love me some shoes but these ones just about killed me. I think I remember a pair of these when I was 10 but on an adult? Also this lady had a "sexy" dress on and these shoes just did not scream "HOT SHOES"?
Oh and this little dozzie. I had to double take.. then triple take on these snazzy little jeans. I even manage to have a little conversation with this young lady about these jeans. They are her fav and she loves them, and "lots of people" tell her how awesome they are...

My fav part is the white socks pulled up... oh yeah!
Full trip post coming up!!!

What do you think of this bad fashion?

Trip to the ER

So I tried to get the hubby to take a picture of me in excruciating pain in the ER for blogging purposes and he told me to just blog without pictures...

Pictures would have been so much better...

So I was barfing my face off so bad that on Wednesday night about 2:30 after crazy vomit I woke up the hubby to "Babe I need to go to the hospital"

God love him, the man jumped straight out of bed knowing that if I am asking to go something is "really wrong" (I avoid hospitals like the plague)

I got food poisoning from Mexican food.. yeah not fun at all. But both nurses and the dr kept thinking I might have been pregnant due to my cycle and such.. Yeah so not pregnant and 2 days later I finally feel better!

So needless to day no more Mexican for a LONG time for this girl!

And it was not ALL bad.. They gave me morphine for the pain (it was my WHOLE body and it was BAD) and today I am feeling pretty FABULOUS!

What not to wear Wednesday!

Oh yes.. At first I thought this lady was naked... And then I had a closer look, I wish I would have gotten a closer picture of her face because she about 50. And under her very pretty mid drift leopard print top that accentuated her C-section scar...
Oh yeah and her hair had not been brushed in 2 weeks. And she strutted like she was all that... ugg
And because I can not make this shit up... I ran into these two at Walgreens the other day, and well I had to ask to take a picture because I mean who would BELIEVE THIS??

I had a good laugh and they were on their way to a "Rock Band" contest at his god daughters house who was 7, there were going to be about 30 people there and he wanted to make sure he made an impact because "He would do anything for that little girl"

He even shaved his head! Love it!

Oh May how I love thee..

Which means Summer is almost here! And I could not be more excited. See we are anxiously awaiting news on if we are moving again.

I will not tell you where because I do not want to jinx it. The hubby is REALLY excited and I am trying to play it off like "If it happens, it happens" but either way we are still in a good place.

ANNNNDDD

June we are going home!! To Canada for almost 3 weeks!!! I AM SO EXCITED!! In case you could not tell!!!

We are taking a road trip home, from my front door to my dads is 18 hours so we are going to take my SUV bring Daisy and hit the road!

I know whats to be excited about OKC? Well its the 1/2 way mark for us both, shes in Dallas and I am in Kansas so its 4 hours each!! And I have not seen her in 2 years so I am SUPER excited about that trip as well!!

Life is good. I am so blessed.
