Random Thoughts

* How many jobs have you heard of where you can come in late EVERY DAY? Oh and because you are waiting for your baby's daddy to pick her up you bring your 1 year old to work for an hour or 2? SERIOUS WHAT THE F^&K.

* I have been SO emotional lately that I cry at EVERYTHING!! Serious I sob last night during Grey's Anatomy and then when the hubby came to bed I cried again sobbing and telling him nothing can EVER happen to him.

* I need new shoes. And before you all laugh and say "yeah right" I have these flats that I like to wear when my back is hurting and they stink... so bad that every day when I get home the first thing I have to do is wash my feet. This has been going on for over a week now and I am so afraid to just throw them out because they are so comfortable.

* I am dreaming about my convertible and I am getting excited. But I am also scared because I do not want to pay more than I already do for a new car....

* Oh some parent is going to trust me to "Mentor" there child. I know crazy. We will spend 1 hour a week together, talking, doing home work I am just hoping my kid is not "to smart" because I would really feel like an ass telling them I failed calculus.

*I need to diet and I do not want to. At. all.

* I want TIVO so bad but we can not get it where we are with Direct TV because of the building we live in SO HOW AM I GOING TO WATCH ALL MY SHOWS and still find the time to work out. Shit.

first, congrats on your new car.

i think it's the weather or something because i've been weepy for the stupidest reasons.

and what's wrong with getting new shoes? that brought a smile to my weepy face. ;)

i think it's awesome you're going to mentor a child.

Throw the stinky shoes out and get some fancy driving shoes for your new ride!

I am sure hubby doesn't mind you being weepy, as long as it isn't because of him!

Buy the shoes, and don't apologize.

You don't need to diet, just make one healthy change to your eating and/or exercise routine, and in a couple of weeks make another. Repeat as needed. Don't forget to put in rewards from time to time when you reach a goal (another good reason to buy shoes).

You are going to be great at mentoring because it is coming from your heart. You don't need to know everything, just how to find out the answers. If you don't get something (or even if you do), ask the child to "teach" you how to do it (one of the best ways to cement learning is to teach it to someone else) it will be a great self-esteem booster for them.

Mentoring? You go girl! Raising my own kids scares the bejeesus out of me.

Buy some new shoes hun! It'll help with all that weepyness. (is that a word? if it is, is that how you spell it?)

That's too bad on the stinky shoes (especially since they're your favorites) and the TiVo thing.

Hey... I hae Direct TV and a DVR through them... what is up with that? Or... wait, not we have direct TV through Dishnetwork and a DVR through them! LOL I love my DVR, if you can swing it... it is the best!

I haven't watched Greys yet... but I am not sure I want to! I am reading a book right now where one of the characters dies in surgery, I am fairly certian someone dies on Greys AND... my mom is having surgery on Monday and keeps talking to me about dying during it! So no more of people dying right now, I can't handle it! LOL
