The first time I saw those cars was in Spain. I couldn't believe how small. I would feel unsafe here driving one. All those people in SUV's (like myself) would probably run it over! ;-)
I see these on the road and I just cant imagine getting onto the interstate in one of those. No way are you walking away if you end up tangled with at truck or an suv. I'll take my moderate gas guxxler thanks.
The smart cars made sense in Europe since the cities' streets are narrow and parking is non existent. But in the US? I'm not sure that will ever catch on here. Maybe for people who don't have to travel to other states with their car?
The story of a girl and her husband (8 years and going strong) and the dog we rescued.I started to blog 10 years ago when I knew I would be leaving Canada to be a wife in the USA, Join me on this adventure of shoes, shopping, travel and everything else thrown in. Oh and just for fun we thought we would battle an ugly beast called Cancer the hubby was diagnosed November 15th, 2010 and you can find us over here too...

They are quite common in Europe. Very cute but very, very small indeed.
