I need some help y'all!!

So once again I am going to try to lose some weight.

This time though failure is not an option.

So I am taking all suggestions. What works for you. What did not work. What was fun to try???

I am thinking this will be a 7 day a week mission. I need to lost AT LEAST 30 (my last 30 I am aiming for 40 but will go with 30)

SO umm yeah. **help**

I was thinking how about a weight loss challenge?? Anyone?

The only thing that has ever worked for me is counting calories. I also allowed myself one "treat" a week. When I say "treat" I mean like a little debbie fudge round or something like that. Not a huge bowl of ice cream with all the extras. Just a 200 or 250 calorie snack cake. It worked pretty well. Walking also helped. I would try to walk at least a mile or two a day.

I would love a challenge maybe that's just what I need. I want to loose 15 lbs but would settle for 10! I've decided I can't eliminate any kind of food I just have to use portion control and I have to get moving. The older I get the harder it is to get off!

The one thing I'm suure of is the simple physicas part of it - you have to burn more calories than you consume. So exercise, like walking, just has to be part of it.

Funny you should post this. I just got back from the store after buying lots of low calorie snacks, tuna and rice cakes. Red always does Atkins. And it works for him. Heck, it works for me too, but I can’t stick with it. I’ll do good for a week. Drop a few pounds and be feeling really good and then I will binge. Blah! So Red decided to do the old fashion thing. Low calorie, low fat and exercise. Now that’s a bandwagon I can get on board with! LOL, actually, I am eating a piece of Amish peach pie, but I’ll start tomorrow. Promise! I even plan on getting up and running! GO ME!

So yeah, if you need help or want to do a challenge, just let me know!
