Still under tornado watch

(Not my photo but one that was taken here in Wyoming)

Its so sureal out here. One minute its sunny and nice out then the clouds move over and poof hail, lightning and high winds.

I have never lived in a tornado area so its strange to me. So far we have been lucky the closet one was about 4 miles out, we got the debris from it and the weather but nothing else. The weather network says 3 more days like this...

I emailed my mom and dad and my mom freaked out a little. She thinks I am trying to give her a heart attack.

When we moved to California in 2003 there were HUGE fires on either side of us. So close our cars were covered in ash for weeks. It was a really scary time.

And then we move out here and we have tornadoes, just our luck....

One of our managers lost his house. Completely. It was leveled, and they were scheduled to move in this weekend. It was a brand new house. But on the bright side, none of there things were there. They were not living there. No one was hurt so its rather a blessing. Also the adjusted was out today and said they will just rebuild.

So fingers crossed y'all that mother nature will stop shitting on us?

We interupt this program for Tornadoes!!!

I understand now why the pilot circled the airport for 45 minutes. When we touched down and I was able to pick up my messages its the hubby telling me "Babe there have been 7 tornadoes in the area one cause a lot of damage"

There is Video of the biggest one here.. We are on Tornado watch till 8pm.

I call him back only to find out the highway is closed then I chose seeing how its so sunny to just drive home anyways... Here is my pictures...

So this was the view out of Denver, sunny beautiful day. I almost thought the hubby was half joking until I listened to the radio...

This the one of the "fingers" I saw touch down, its all nice and fluffy white..

Going further into the highway where it was hit harder.....

This was the weirdest storm cloud I have ever seen, it was as I entered Wyoming, then the hail and rain started..

And this is after I parked the car safely. There was over 2 inches of hail, at the time I got home, 7 tornadoes had touched down doing some serious damage.
This should be a few interesting days....

The tornadoe alarms keep going off which is a little scary to say the least seeing how there was 2 already in our city... Fingers crossed y'all so far we are good and safe and Daisy likes to bark at the really hard hail that hits the window.. Shes not so smart some times.
