Daisy had her surgery..
It was the WORST experience of my life. The FABULOUS Dr and vet techs we amazing, they were so accommodating and are really great at what they do.
Because Daisy is so afraid of the kennel they allowed me to be there with her immediately after the surgery.
The minute she started to wake up from the anesthesia.
If you have never seen this.
PLEASE NEVER DO IT!!
It was so scary, she screamed for about 1/2 hour she did not know where she was, what was going on.
Then she started to thrash, all of which I was told through my sobs was completely normal.
Along with her cries were my cries.
I love that little stinker so much it about killed me!!
I am SO thankful I could be there though. I could not imagine her in a kennel going through that all on her own.
I do have a new appreciation for moms and dads. It was a REALLY long night of cries and worries (both me and the dog)
She is doing well though. She still will not eat but we took her for a long walk this morning and she did well!
She hates the cone! We took it off for about 1 second and she tried to lick so now she is stuck in it for the next 10 days....
I can not wait till she is back to her normal self.
