Flights are booked!

My flights are booked for Canada WEEHOO!!!

I am so excited, I will be home with family and friends from August 14th till September 2nd!!

I am a little bummed out about it though. The hubby is not coming as we had originally planned for a few reasons. 1. He is taking time off already in August for a prior commitment he has. 2. Daisy (because she can not be kennelled) 3. Money. 4. He has LOTS of stuff going on at work and is not sure if its the right thing to do to take off so much work.

I had an interview today and I have a second interview on Friday (for another serving job) and I have been applying at various "big girl jobs" with still no luck. I need to start working LIKE crazy because when I take time off, well I am not getting paid. Anything. So 2 1/2 weeks with no pay is going to HURT!

I know something has gotta give soon right?

Umm I started... Its right here but I never got to uploading any pictures.. Maybe I will get back to this some day..

2. Speaking of shoes, are you like me and just buy the pretty ones that you can afford, or do you also buy Prada and Gucci?
I only buy cheap ones.. I just could never warrant spending too much on shoes. I prefer to spend under $30 mostly. I have splurged a few times on ones that I HAD TO HAVE. But my max was $100. And they were Guess, and patent leather and purple. My name was all over them.

3. How's the Twilight Journey going? Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Just finished the books. Today actually. I am team Edward for sure. I did say I liked the movie better, but after getting through the series and having gone back to see the movie again. The books are better!

4. George Clooney or Brad Pitt?
Ugg on both of them. I am more of a Vin Diesel fan? Or the Rock....

5. What would your luxury item on Survivor be?
Lip gloss.. I have about 15 in my purse I can not stand to have dry lips!! Its one of my pet peeves.. that or a bottle to hold my water. I drink LOTS of water in a day..

Bullet points

* I played hooky from work today.. tee hee.. Probably the only day I really could seeing how much work is on my plate. One of the girls has been out for over a month. A MONTH. So not cool.

* Hubby played hooky too!

* Just finished the book Twilight. It was good. I think I liked the movie better.

* I am going to start the second book here in a minute.

* Talked to my dad, we are going home (population 2000) where I grew up to surprise my grandma for her 80th birthday in July.

* We are moving to Kansas. Yes Kansas. I have already tried to call Daisy Toto, shes not having it.

* My shoes arrived today. However UPS did not ring the bell or even knock so they will be delivered tomorrow..

Updates

*School is not going to happen. I was schedualled to start yesterday and remember this? How I was worried about starting and then not being able to finish. I just got to thinking IT WAS A LOT of work and was not fair if I took advantage of the situation?

*Anyways. Work now knows I am leaving, I gave them my notice today so they can post my job. Because its a Gov position it takes FOREVER to hire someone.

*We have a tentative "idea" of where we may be moving. Its somewhere in Florida and I am SO excited!!

*My best friend is having a baby boy! And I am SO excited.

*My friend I went to Vegas with is moving September 19th and I am very sad about it. But we will always be friend so I am not so worried. And if we move to Florida then we will be closer to each other (she is moving to Dallas, TX)

*Project need to lose weight starts again September 1st. I have maintained for over 8 months so its time to step it up and start losing again.

But to sum it up. Life is good and I am blessed.

Things going on in Random Land:

* I apologize for dropping the "lump bomb" with no follow up. The reason I will not blog about it, is well because it makes me worry. And until I know for sure that everything is ok I would rather not dwell on it. It is what it is, and at this point there is nothing I can do about it and stay positive and just pray its only a cyst (which I am becoming more and more sure it HAS to be)

* Its cold as hell out here. Like freeze your tits off cold -20 with the wind chill. THIS SUCKS ASS!!

* I am busy planning a girls only weekend and I am now realizing I am going to have to work more PT hours to afford this trip......Maybe I need to start working in a restaurant again?

* I am looking for another job... long story and HUGE post coming about that.

* I am DYING for this stupid gym that was supposed to open on the 1st to open. I have called every week for the last 3 week and its always a different story. I need to get on track to look fabulous come the girls trip in May.

* Its so COLD and dry out here I am going through a friggin GALLON of body cream a day AND I AM STILL DRY ITCHY GROSS!! And yes ladies I have tried it ALL I bought one of those kits that had the Olay in shower moisturizer and that stuff works well but within and hour I am dry and itchy again. At this point all suggestions are welcome!!
