Its a rough life...

I love my dad. For Christmas this year he sent the hubby and I money with SPECIFIC instructions we were to buy ourselves something we want.

No bill paying no nothing.

We were supposed to spend it on something fabulous for ourselves...



Well I found 3 fabulous items ALL FOR ME!!!

And OH YES!!


I think I may take them all to bed with me.....

I love to shop! And I am good at it too!

So ever since I got it in my head that I wanted a new purse for my birthday and the one I went out to get was a flop.. I thought I would head out today to see what was out and about.....



And I bought 6.....








Macys was having a FABULOUS summer ends sale for %80 off. And then I had a coupon for an additional %20 off AND I had a $10 off of $3o gift that Macys sent me for my birthday....

Oh yeah, I also purchased 4 dresses, 6 shirts, and 1 roomper for ONLY $20 baby!!

Each purse was under $4!!!! So how could I not get them all?? And the bright blue one was quasi the color of the one I was after anyways..... It took me LOTS of stuff (all Roxy and Guess) at over %100 off to come up with the $30 I needed to spend to get the $10 off!!!

Wheww shopping is exhausting! But I will not be needed a new purse anytime soon! Or any more cute summer wear.... Thank goodness we have a beach vacation in our future!

He brings home yummy desserts from lunch!!!


Just the word surprise gets me all excited, he brought home 4 yummy desserts from a luncheon at work. I LOVE sweets!!

Maybe I will clean the bathrooms today....

I got most of the stuff done on my list yesterday.

1. Hair cut Check

2. Dog bath Check

3. Rebate stuff check

I went out to buy the purse. Yeah it was not so hot when I got to touch it.. It was cheaply made and it look cheap and for $30 I could not warrant spending that cash (even though its a birthday present to myself) on something that was not FABULOUS! So the hunt continues for a fabulous new purse, or shoes. Or whatever : )

And we are doing date night tonight we are going to see couples retreat!! I am so excited to see this movie. No worries a full recap when I get back!

I saw this and thought it was cute.. I tend to pride myself on my selection of purses. I tend to get lots of comments/compliments on them so I thought this was a cool meme.

2. It was $21 on clearance and Macys. To be honest I bough the IDENTICAL pink one first using a coupon and "special buy" event and it was $2 with all the discounts. As I was leaving with my glorious buy I saw this one. And well seeing how I saved so much money on the first one.. and one of the sales applied to the identical bag...

3. Not much in it. Water bottle, wallet, kleenex, 3 lip glosses, hand sanitizer, notes for things needed at the store. 6 pens (in my defense I do work in a restaurant)

Dixie - Because she is BACK!! Finally..

Girlville - Because she is so crafty.. I bet its handmade!

Magnolia - Because she lives where it is warm and I bet its as cute as a button

Feast your eyes on these little cuties. They were from DSW and they are Hush puppies (the most comfortable shoes ever) and they were only $12.

I had to have them. And I LOVE them. They are fabulous.



And they are ballet flats. Did I ever tell you how I loath ballet flats?? Umm yeah a few times...

I have grown.

My first pair of BROWN shoes. And first pair of ballet flats. Serious. In 31 years. This means trouble!!

I just experienced Stein Mart. Oh how I LOVE thee....

WHY DID ANYONE NOT TELL ME OF THIS FABULOUS STORE!!!

They have everything, shoes, house stuff, knick knacks, purses (lots of purses) its sort of like a "fancy" Tj Max or Ross store....

I think I may be a little in love

Are these not the CUTEST things? They are planters. High heal SUPER cute planters. Seeing how I do not garden, I tried to rack my brain for other usefull ways to use such a darling little shoes? Any ideas? I could not think of anything "for me" however for other people... What a cute gift!

And I HAVE to have this. I mean really? I laughed out loud when I saw this. I think its a great little sign. I even asked the hubby if he would mind it I bought it and put it above the closet...



He laughed at me and teased me a little...I really do love that man... And Stein Mart!

Jessica Simpson 3 Random 0

This is her new perfume that just came out. Its called Fancy. It is so nice. I am such a fussy perfume person and I am VERY selective when I buy perfume, and for me to buy this the minute I smelled it. Its pretty fabulous!


And both pairs of shoes were on clearance! In my size?? Had to have them!! And so pretty!!





What do you think? Its so strange because I am really not a Jessica Simpson fan. She does have some really great taste in shoes!! I have my eye on some other ones she has out right now. But I have to wait till they are clearance!

The best sister of the year award goes to....

ME!!! Or at least I am a contender. This is my baby sisters Christmas gift. She is moving into her own place (she is 21) on December 1st and has NOTHING to move in with. This is my contribution.. I am SO excited for her to see it!!



Yes its a HUGE stack of towels. But I LOVE towels. And I believe you can never have too many towels. And its her first place....



Did you count? There is 12 of them. I had to make sure she had at least 4 pink ones. Well because she is a girl and pink ROCKS!!



And VOILA her Roxy shower curtain. I loved it the minute I saw it and thought it would be perfect!!
