Get everything together

We are getting the house together and its all coming along....

We drove into the hubbys job today so he could sign in and get his blackberry and stuff and this is his drive to work.

Yeah its going to be tough he lives 10 miles from our new place and 7 miles are right along the ocean. Its so beautiful I can not even explain. I find myself at random just stopping and staring out into the ocean. There is something so calming about it...

Getting a little down in the dumps!

Work has been sucking the life out of me.

The other night I had an 18 top which 3 servers had to take that walked in at 9:30!!! Friggin people!! They did not even get "settled" till 10pm and thats when we close!

It was such a nightmare! Uggg

Well things could be worse I guess... I could be this lady!




These pictures are HILARIOUS I mean there were LOTS of handicapped parking spaces why "if you needed" the space would you park your car ON A FRIGGIN SNOW BANK?

Its a rough life...

I love my dad. For Christmas this year he sent the hubby and I money with SPECIFIC instructions we were to buy ourselves something we want.

No bill paying no nothing.

We were supposed to spend it on something fabulous for ourselves...

I LOVE Halloween, I think it may be one of my favorite holidays...

These ladies were so much fun to go out with, I went out as an impromptu pirate, Ms. Amber was foxy cleopatra and Ms. Katie was a sexy devil....
This is Katie and her man.. His outfit really scared me... It was super creepy!

Now I have a question? Is it me or do all girls was to be sexy on Halloween? Because some of the outfits I saw should not have been worn TO A BAR? I mean I was fully clothed but there were many that were not...

Trip home Update #2 I LOVE Britney Spears

Me and my sister.. I love this girl to death. I can hardly believe there is 10 years between us. She really is like my best friend, only better because we have "been through it ALL together"

To me there really is a magic with siblings? A love that can not be explained. Because of the age gap I had a hand in raising her. Changing many a diaper, being relied on as a babysitter. I hope I helped to mold her into the beautiful, strong woman she has become! The time I spent with her on my trip I will always cherish! I mean SHE'S 22!!! AKKK where does the time go? Pretty soon I will me planning her bachlorette party!!!

Here we are ready to go!! 2 hot ladies ready for a Britney concert!
I had to take this one, we are crammed like sardines into the bus. In Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) they have one of the BEST public transportation systems I have ever seen. You can get from one end of the city to the other in 45 minutes. Clean, reliable (albeit icky gross people) I never owned a car in Ottawa due to the public systems set up. Way cheaper and WAY easier.
I LOVED this idea. So cute.
BRITNEY WAS AMAZING!! Yes she did not sing ANY of her songs because of all the action, but she did do one song live. I did not get ANY pictures because I was too busy screaming (and helping her sing with 20,000 other people) out loud.
She looked great. Her dancers were amazing, she sang ALL of the songs you would want her to (if you are a closet fan)




The show was FABULOUS!! And I would recommend ANYONE to go see it!!!

I wish I had a better picture of this dress. I bought it a few months ago in hopes of nice weather for $7.50. Its SO CUTE on...



And these babies I have had for about 4 years. I have worn them once (if I remember correctly but are the perfect green for the dress...

I would like to say this is how it all started!!



Notice the sign on the bar behind me? Yeah...... I have NO IDEA how I ended up on the bar?? On top of the bar? I mean I would be lying if I said this was the first bar I stood on... And lets face it I am a pretty wild gal so I doubt it will be that last one either... Thank goodness they warn you first!




I have no explanation for this one. Other than we were at a biker bar? And I maybe borrowed this from someone? Anyone? Must go wash my hair again....



It was a fun night!! Can you guess which picture is my favorite? lol, I really like to amuse myself sometimes!

Pedicure on a budget!

I love being a girl. Part of that love is having cute feet and being able to indulge on pedicures. I think nothing makes me feel better than a good pedicure...

But seeing how I am on a budget I can not warrant spending $30 on my feet right now...



I did it myself!! Its takes way longer than at a salon but seeing how most of us ladies have all the stuff we need in our own bathrooms already. I sat in front of the TV watched "Say yes to the dress" and did my toes.


Voila!! I think I may have even done a better job than the salon too!

The new little man in my life!!

My best friend in the whole world had this beautiful baby boy. I have never held him but I already know I love him!! And she has asked me to be his GODMOTHER!!! And I could not be more happy of excited about this honor!!

And oh yes they did!! That is a mohawk!! The coolest godson EVER!!


I just want to kiss all over him!!!

So I figure 4 months is enought time?

So these DVDs and mirror have been sitting in front of the fireplace since we unpacked.. Because the mirror was so heaving I had been waiting for the hubby to put it up but after 4 months I took matters into my own hands...




I am not even going to tell you how many tries it took me to get it onto the wall (the mirror is about 40 pounds) and I had to HOLD IT OVER MY HEAD!

But its done...


And I am pretty damn proud of myself!

A day at the dog park....

Well its technically not the dog park. Its the soccer park right beside the dog park that I take her too... She loves to chase the birds but because it was so hot today there were no birds. She just runs around stupid. I have tried to take her into the dog park but she has gotten so bad with other dogs. So I just keep it simple and watch her run and play and explore.


Its important to stay hydrated. And yes she is drinking from my water bottle. In fact she will paw at it if she gets thirsty! She is one of the smartest dogs I know!


Deciding which way to run!


I Love lazy Saturdays. We stayed out for about an hour and a half, I read my book while she ran around. When we got home she knew it was bath time (always after the park) and she hid under the bed from me. Yep. Smart dog. She is so getting a bath tomorrow.

Because I just can not help myself!!!

Is she not the cutest thing!! It was beautiful out on Thursday last week so we laid out on a blanket in the park and play...



I love Daisy SO MUCH!!!

Voila! The new hair!!

This is a pretty good gauge at what it used to look like...































And the new hair... Nothing too fabulous but a lot shorter and blonder. I am a little upset I did not keep some more of the length but I am still happy with the results!

St Pattys Day Fashion... And how did 100,000 people get the day off??

A little doggie fashion as well!

This poor guy was so scared at the parade from all the shouting and clapping his owner was holding him..... He was shaking.. I went over and gave him a few pets and whispered everything was going to be ok.



In my defense I was able to take the day off because I had a dr appointment with a friend. Well she had the appointment and I was moral support (LONG STORY) she was having an ultrasound to find out if she is having a boy or girl! ITS A BOY!

And the news said there were 100,000 people downtown for the festivities.


And me and a friend were the only sober ones. No joke. At 11am me, her and about a hand full of other pregnant women were sober and quaking at the crowds... The VERY drunk crowds.. Our group included.

It was a beautiful 80 degrees outside and the parade was fun. I am not sure I would like to do it again sober. But it was a great place to watch people and just to be out enjoying the weather....
