Care package for the neighbors

So we have lived here for about 10 months and we have met our neighbors that live right across from us a few times. They have a police dog that daisy seems to think she can take on and fight every time she sees him.....

She is in law school and he is a police officer. They just had the cutest little baby boy and when he was born I bought them a little onesie and left them a little note...

Well they just bought a house and they are moving on.... So in true Random fashion I put together a cool little "congrats on your new house basket" and brought it over....



Needless to say they were surprised, the husband said it was the coolest thing they have ever been given **gush**

And can you guess who was the only donation?


Yeah I brought over a huge box of food for the donation box, they posted these signs on all 170 units.. I hope some other people pull up their socks and donate too!!... I sure do love this...

The best sister of the year award goes to....

ME!!! Or at least I am a contender. This is my baby sisters Christmas gift. She is moving into her own place (she is 21) on December 1st and has NOTHING to move in with. This is my contribution.. I am SO excited for her to see it!!



Yes its a HUGE stack of towels. But I LOVE towels. And I believe you can never have too many towels. And its her first place....



Did you count? There is 12 of them. I had to make sure she had at least 4 pink ones. Well because she is a girl and pink ROCKS!!



And VOILA her Roxy shower curtain. I loved it the minute I saw it and thought it would be perfect!!

So not only do I LOVE shoes for myself I could not pass up this deal at $.99 from Dillards for my care package for my BFF Sal ( I can not believe I just typed that)

Surprises in the mail

WEEHOO Ok I love surprises!! And my good friend Patty who I am running the marathon with sent me a care package today FULL of surprises!! She sent goodies for me to try on my long runs and a really great book about running.
My favorite thing is the magnet for my fridge. I love it! Nothing like a little motivation to keep you going. Oh and the ugly socks (even Patty says so) are for my race this Sunday that I am doing on my own.

THE CARE PACKAGE HAS ARRIVED!!!

So this was it. My bestest friends birthday present. Its pretty friggin sweet if I do say so myself!! And let me tell you how hard it was to pack up all those pretty shoes!!! I cried a little, but then it gives me excuses to by more...lol Which I am working on the hubby and I have agreed I can buy 3 more pairs before our vacation so I have to pick carefully! But I will have all these pretties to wear when I visit! Are the purses not the coolest??

And it only weighed 10 pounds. So I am getting better at the care packages. This one is for Sals birthday and hopefully when she gets it she will take pictures of all the goodies and I can tell y'all whats in it... tee hee
