I am cheating this year. The hubby and I were talking about our thanksgiving plans for dinner and it was cheaper and WAY less stress to just buy a "package deal" from Target and it feeds a family of 8-10 people.
Umm yeah. Its me and him and our 9 pound dog.... YAY leftovers! And seeing how we had spaghetti last year....
Things I am thankful for this year...
1. My loving and supportive husband. Each day I fall more in love with the man he is, I am so blessed and thank God for him every day. He is my rock, my lover, my best friend.
2. Daisy our dog. She makes me LAUGH so much and really makes a bad day so much better. Its been almost 3 years and I have no idea what we did without her.
3. I was able to go home and visit and spend quality time with friends and family. The time was invaluable and my spirit needed it.
4. Our health. Although its been an expensive year for me and my stupid problems I am thankful we have our health.
5. My friends and family. They are amazing. Period.
What are you giving Thanks for this year?

Things that made me smile today:
1) 80 year old saying the words "Wow that's jacked up!"
2) Catching a little girl running like mad away from her dad giggling at the top of her lungs.
3) The phone call from Hubby that Florida "Is beautiful, but hot" Its 45 degrees today here in Cowboy country. So cold I have a coat on. In September. September 3rd. I almost turned on the heat last night. In September.
4) The Dove chocolate I ate that had the message inside that said "Keep the promises you make to yourself"
5) Thinking about hanging out with my dear friend Kelli last night. We just sat around had dinner and some laughs. I love spending time with friends like that. I miss spending time with friends like that. The no agenda date night with friends. It kills me she leaves in 16 days.
6) Thinking about the move. SO EXCITED!! Regardless of where it is to. Change is good. Its time.
7) Thoughts of hubby coming home tomorrow and date night on Friday.
8) The 3 compliments on my new $4 clearance Candies coat from kohls. Its so cute black trench coat with white polka dots. (I need to take a picture)
9) Taking the dog for a morning walk. It was awesome to just clear my head before heading to work. Not to mention the doggy kisses when we got back. Although it was COLD and she was shivering she loved it.
10) Girl at PT Job came in with her NEW baby... 6 pounds of beautiful little girl!!! I kissed her, and held her and she was SO CUTE...
Today is a good day.

Busy, Busy, Busy!!
I got another job. I did what I said I was going to do and I went back to my roots. I am really excited about it too. I am working at a GREAT restaurant and the people I work with are really laid back and almost already feel like family. I have also still been working my Part-time gig so I have had barely time to do laundry and check email. It feels good to be back in the zone.
You know how I always say everything happens for a reason. I had NEVER read this until today, it really makes sense to me now...

To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.
