Ok about the wobbie

Seeing how so many people asked. I am about to bare one of my deep dark secrets. And its fine to tease and make fun of me, because trust me my closest friends still tease me about it. Oh and I have 3 brothers who tease me about it. My mom teases me. My sister teases me. My husband teases me.

I have a baby blanket. I am 28 ..opps.. 29 years old and I have a baby blanket. I have had it as long as I can remember and its a little tattered to say the least. I sleep with it every night and I call it my woobie. My mom thought I would grow out of it and she tried to sell it with the matching sheets and curtains at a garage sale and I bought it with my allowance (she was trying to wean me away from it) Just to give you some background I spent ALOT of time in the hospital as a kid and it was always with me. My parents divorce I had it to comfort me. My cousins suicide I had it with me, at camp when I would pee the bed and then get beat by my uncle it kept me safe.

So there it is. Laugh if you must. It looks like a big blob because it is, its actually a full size (in its former glory) double comforter. Its been washed so many times that its almost transparent. All the stuffing is at one end
And I love it! And if you look closely at it you will see Strawberry Shortcake, I have told the hubby that when he has been around for a long as I have had it, I will give it to him pnly 21 more years to go.lol
I have had many offers to re-stuff it because friends and family are sick of looking at the mess that its become. But I like it just fine the way it is. I will try to pull out pictures of the many people in my life and the wobbie stealing the shot...lol

FOR FREE!! I love free shit.

Oh and for those people who know me yes thats my wobbie in a crumpled heap in the back of the picture...lol I still have it!

This post is for Joie Devivre

Because the nutball took pics of herself in blue shorts and has been dreaming about smurfs every since lol and then today when I am thinking of smurfs this is on YAHOO and had to post it. Serious when was the last time you thought of the smurfs? Gargumel? Smurfett? Bonus points if you remember Gargumels cats name AND NO USING GOOGLE! LOL The smurf official website (who knew?) And because today is the anniversary of the smurfs this article will bring back some memories.

So strange

I am off to meet a friend for lunch. We used to work together at the "old" employer. Its so weird because even just knowing I am going to be NEAR that old place I have butterflies and I feel like I am going to puke.
Geez if I did not like her so much or value her friendship I would tell her to stick it!!..lol
And to think I am not even going to go into the building or anything, I am not even going to be NEAR the building (we are meeting a few miles away in stealth mode to coach her on NAILING the job interview she has) So everyone keep you fingers crossed (BECAUSE I TOLD YOU TO) that she gets this new job and then I will have more glorious stories about the little man and his small, small mind.

Then I get to go meet with the lawyer about my case (you know the one where I am a drug addict murderer) to see if I am going to prison or not. So that should be a hoot! serious its about my work place injury from almost 2 years ago

And then to the mall because I have this $50 gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket.

WEEHOO free money. Oh and one of the dealers that works at the casino, it turns out her sister works at Pure in Ceasers palace in Vegas and that happens to be the club me and my cousin are going to go to on Sunday night and she can get us in VIP!! WEEHOO free cover!

A good day! : )

Finally

Well there are a few things I am counting down

1. My cousin is coming to visit in t-minus 7 days and I am getting REALLY EXCITED about it. It will be nice to spend time with family, not to mention the drunken debauchery in Vegas and getting to shop. (I WISH SHE WOULD CALL SO WE CAN FINALIZE SOME PLANS!!)

2. I have another interview tomorrow as a "back up" just in case this other job for some stupid reason falls through. With my luck it will happen, I also like to be super prepared.

3. I have an appointment with my lawyer about my injury court date so hopefully soon all this mess will be over.

4. Greys Anatomy is on in 1 hour. I LOVE THAT SHOW.

5. I am planning a visit home in May. It happens to be one of my bestest girlfriends 30th (which of coarse I can not miss) and its Mothers day so bonus points for my mom besides the fact I have not been home in 2 years at this point I need that too. And its FREE we can finally use our airmiles.

6. I am going to be starting a new job and I am so EXCITED about that one. I will be taking Ms. Pink Slips advice and taking it slow at the new job, its less work, less stress and I hope the people I work with are not complete idiots!!

Proof that I am going to hell

This is the MIL dog Maggie, she is the cuttest thing and she puts up with a lot. THe MIL and I went shopping today and stopped at the local thrift shop and bought all the doll clothes for poor Maggie.
Shes the cuttest thing!

Momma always said wear clean underwear

8am this morning I have an appointment for my physical for my new job. Because I have been through this before I knew to make sure to drink lots of water on the way just to make sure without question I would be able to pee. (this has happened before and is a nighmare because they make you come back to fill the cup, and if you can not they make you come back) Anyways I get there at 8am and I am there with about 7 other people.
I sit and wait patiently.
And wait.
And wait.
Finally at 9am I ask the lady if its going to be much longer because I am about to burst.
She looks at the sign in sheet and there is a check beside my name.

Her "Have you filed out forms yet?"
Me "No, you have not called me yet I have been here for the last hour and some people who came in after me have been going in"
Her "Are you sure?"
Me "Yes I am sure you fucking idiot, I think I would know if you gave me forms to fill out" (not really what I said but what I was certainly thinking)
Her "Oh, well this check here (she shows me the check mark) shows that I called you to fill in forms are you sure you have not filled them out and misplaced them?"
Me "Listen fucktard, I am SURE you did not give me forms and this sitting area that is RIGHT THE FUCK in front of you it would be clear if forms had been misplaced" (you get the picture)
Her "Oh, Ok then here fill out these forms and we will get you right in"

So I am on my merry way, hearing test, sight test, TB stick to the arm and then when all was filled out I am lead to a room by the nurse and told "Take off your pants and shirt and leave the opening to the back"

WHAT THE FUCK! This is a physical right? Because doctors are so fun and its even more fun when you have never met them before and will never see them again, and they come flying into the room and its certain that you are clearly not prepared and have not gotten the stupid gown that's to open in the back to cover you nid bits yet and the room is freezing and this doctor tells you to sit.
And you try, you try to be so cute and sit without the magnitude of you ass spreading all over the table because its become very apparent had you know that you would be asked to put on a gown you may have fished the "full bottom" panties from the back of the panty drawer and would not be here in this predicament if hes laughing at your cottage cheese spread ass all over his table.
He makes you breath (your good at this) asks a few questions has you stand up and touch your nose with your eyes closed and you do so with your ass facing the wall then it comes.

Dr you have never met in your life and you are in a robe that does not do up or cover your ass.

"Please touch your toes"
Your face immediately goes beet read and you laugh cause you are embarrassed you are thinking in your head FUCK, and you hesitate. And laugh again.
YOU.WANT.ME.TO.WHAT?

He then tells you to hold it with one hand.....

Weehhwe that one was close. It is days like these that I question love for the thong/g-string?

* punctual
*exceeds expectations
*handles pressure well

*an invaluable asset

Who's a rock star employee? Wouldn't you want to hire me? Yes, yes I am that fabulous!! : )
But you know what eggs me about this WHY WOULD THEY LET ME GO BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH??? Serious if you had an employee that you thought was a rock star would you let them go? I don't know, I guess I never will but I do know that the VP and HR fought for me. Stupid little men!

I need counseling? No? My MAC addiction

Oh and this is not even all of it.. Oh MAC how I love thee.

So there is this thing I am working on

Its here I have started a photo blog. I am still not sure what I am going to do, but there will be lots of pics and please stop by and say hi. Keep in mind this is the first camera I have had since elementary school because I have always been a Figi quicksnap kinda girl.
So be gentle I am still learning how to use it.

So without further ado Random's Photo Blog

I just posted my first picture so more to come!!

Friggin Hell

Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts
See why do I do this to myself? So I called former employer because new employer would like a letter of reference. See why I left former employer the VP said it would be no problem to get a letter of reference, (I was great, I did a good job, I was on time all that jazz.) Well all week now I have been trying to track down the VP leaving messages and sending emails to this effect. That I am sorry it came to this but where is my damn letter?? I think I am getting the shaft. Which in my world I should not be surprised.
Shit.

Oh just for shits and giggles I am still sick, even more so today than I have been sick, oh and I am not getting paid for a month (which is the kicker)

But you know what. I guess it could be worse. (really at least I think it could)

I love me some free stuff!!

I rarely read spam but for some reason I opened this one up

Points.com

See the thing is because hubby and I have done quite a bit of flying we have accumulated quite a few frequent flyer miles. Well some of the programs we only flew once so we are no where near getting a free flight BUT this program lets you cash them in for gift certificates!!!

So in the mail as we speak is a $50 SEPHORA (SO EXCITED!! ABOUT THIS ONE, I know, I know its not MAC but it makes me happy just the same and I am FOR sure taking my cousin who I have hooked on MAC to Sephora just to watch her drool, and maybe she'll roll around on the floor or something I will be sure to take pics) for only a mere 6000 odd points from Hawaiian Airlines (which if we go again its a LONG way off so the points are just sitting there) and I also happen to have a bank card that accumulates American Airline miles so I get to use those there too....

Its a cool site you should check it out! Oh and I also got a free sample in the mail today for entering a sweepstakes. I Love Free stuff (oh and I love me some MAC, i'll take pics to prove it)!!

*** Oh and its Breast Cancer Awareness Month/ Women's Cancers awareness month, ladies please make sure to check, and be checked and TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR's****

Bastrards!!

OK the BIL and the hubby have been running around for the last 4 days hacking up lungs. See because I did not get sick IMMEDIATELY after there first cough (which is ALWAYS the case) and its been 5 days since the BIL got sick I thought I was going to get away Scott free.
Yeah right, my ass is on fire and the sniffles just started..
Fucking hell, just to add to my unemployed misery.

Oh on a happy note though, I took my car in to have the brakes done, because last time I had an oil change (bastards) they told me I only had a few more months left of them and I should get them done today because they were at like 20-30% (whatever that means) so when I took it in today I told them they needed to be done and he said he'll call me when he has a look.
They were NO WHERE NEAR needing to be done, serious 70% on the front and 50% on the back, which really pisses me off about being a girl because had I given in last time and had them done the bastards would have been replacing perfectly good brakes. Thank goodness I took the BIL and he happens to have a 22 1/2 inch neck **really who'd going mess with that?***

Ok Day:1 And I am already bored

Being the workaholic that I am its really hard for me not to be at work.
I have a list of 13 things on the fridge as things that I need to get done, well 4 of those items can not be done because apparently its Columbus Day and everyone gets a holiday (well not everyone just Doctors and Lawyers)
SSOO this means if I am anxious at Day:1 I can not even think about Week:2.

I did have to call the "former employer" for a letter of reference which the VP said there will be no problem, but for some reason I am feeling a little weird about this whole situation. I think I will work on the resume and see what's else is out there.

And I dropped the car off for brakes and an oil change, which I would just like to mention probably would not need to have been done had I not been unemployed (when it rains it pours) but its my car and it really can not go without.

Ditched a birthday party

I have said it before but serious I am going to hell.
The hubby and I were supposed to go to a party tonight in Hollywood, its a friends birthday and seeing how hes not feeling well (hes got a kick ass cold) and my "job" situation, and the drive, anyways we bowed out.

In other news I went to the casino today while the hubby had friends over and this lady sits beside me. I strike up a conversation because shes the only one remotely in my age range and I was pretty sure she spoke English. So we are chatting away, me telling her my life story, her smiling and nodding at the appropriate spots and I let it slip that I am Canadian.
T- (well call her T) "What? Really? Where?"
Me "Ottawa, Ontario, way east coast"
She looks at me stunned (which in my defense most people do because Americans have no idea where it is)
T- "Are you serious? I am from Ottawa"
Me- "SERIOUS?" (in the best squeal I can munster up)

So needless to say we are instant friends, she's been in the states for 11 years now and we bitched about the differences in Canadians and Americans. She told me about this group of Canadians in LA (and for some reason I can not find the site but I will email her about it) and this group does big Canada Day celebrations (Just like 4th of July for Americans) and they get together and do Canadian "things" ha ha
So strange huh? What are the chances I would meet someone from Ottawa, its would be like a chance in millions.

Oh and for those of you who want to know how cool Canada is when I wa trying to find the site I came across this Canada Passes laws that you can have group sex in clubs

And you wonder why I am crazy

The trouble tree

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had
just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose
an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck
refused to start.

While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he
invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door,
he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches
with both hands.

When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation. His face
was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave
his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity
got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do
earlier.

"Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied "I know I can't help having
troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't
belong in the house with my wife and the children... So I just hang
them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take
care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again." "Funny thing
is," he smiled," when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there
aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before."

I am officially unemployed~ Drama, drama, drama

Yeah you read that right.
SOOO I got the City job, and I accepted, and I "thought" the noble thing to do was give my job as much notice as possible. I loved my customers and I wanted to make sure they were all "transintioned" and knew what was going on.
Being the good person again turned out to bite me in the ass...

Let me tell you a little story....
We have a new President, he's been with the company for 15 years but at our location for about 3 months, since he has been there 3 people have left. Since I have been there 3 people had left and I had one (the HR lady) fired.
Ok so this new president is a little man. And he really is. When I first met him it was great, he would ask what I thought and I would tell him (I have never been one to blow sunshine up any ones ass) I told him a lot of things needed to be changed and I have never worked for a company where the people in customer service did not really "care" about there customers. Needless to say I came in like a tornado. I am passionate and I LOVE working in customer service, I have made a lot of changes and set really high expectations with my customers.

ANYWHO fast forward to Tuesday this week, we were having something air shipped in for a customer that has been doing business with the company for 40 years, well the new president wants to have it billed to the customer, WTF??? So I told him in no uncertain terms NO! That I knew this customer very well and they would cancel all the business with us, and this went back and forth I explained to him that it's not the customers problem that the SAME ITEM THEY HAVE ORDERED FOR 40 YEARS that we can not keep in stock they should be penanlized.
Anyways he walked out in a huff about it and called the sales guy and told him to do it.
The sales guy told him the same thing that the customer would no longer be a customer if we did that.
We won.
Then on Thursday he asked me to go out for lunch to "discuss" the business. I told him I understood his point from the business point of view, but my main issue is the customer suffering. We are after all A HUGE international company.
I told him he micro managed.
I told him he was stubborn.
I told him the moral was down.
I told him he made people feel like shit by yelling at them in front of EVERYONE (he is really this unprofessional and has even come back to apologize for this)
I told him he does not trust his team.

He agreed with everything. He asked me specific instances of his micro management, being stubborn, about the moral. I was honest because lets face it I just can not be when being asked.
He continued to try to justify why he does it.
I disagreed, we agreed to disagree.
Lunch ended on good terms I had gotten a lot of my chest and so had he (trying to justify why he is the way he is without understanding people are human)

Then yesterday when I got the call that I had gotten the city job, I did up my letter of resignation and brought it into the VP who is also my immediate manager. He was happy for me, upset I was leaving but happy for me, he invited me and the hubby for dinner, he hugged me and almost cried. He gave me compliments about being a strong women about being a great worker about being passionate about life and work. It went really well he said if I ever needed a reference, friend or to just talk he would always be there for me. I also told him my concern about the President, I said I was worried he was going to FREAK out and get angry. The VP said not to worry about it he will tell him.

I come in today in the morning and the VP gets me right when I am in the door telling me he needs to talk to me.

VP "I spoke to the President and even though you gave 4 weeks notice he wants you to finish out next week and that's it."

Me "Are you serious?"

VP " I am afraid so, I think he took it personal that you were leaving because of the conversation you guys had *(he was there too) I tried to fight for you saying you were doing the right thing by letting us know but he would not budge, I also think he will try to tell you I decided this (and I know there is no way this would have happened) I am really sorry"

Me "Ok, I'll talk to him I am not expecting anything really I sort of KNEW this was coming"

Then I go to talk to the President (small man)

Me "So VP tells me next Friday will be my last day?"

P "Yeah that's right, you have made the choice to leave so there is no use postponing it"

Me "Well I just wanted to let you know that I was not actively looking for a job, blah, blah blah"

P "that's fine (in the best 5 year old impression EVER) whatever you chose to do, the VP decided we only needed 1 week to transition your customers so after that there is no use having you here, I mean if you left today it would not really be a big deal, your leaving anyways, blah blah, blah"

Me "Ok well its obvious you do not care about the customers that I have been working with for 8 months and I will not be able to give them or the other CSRs any heads up or explain any of the accounts, I'll go through the business and say my good byes Thanks"

Everyone freaks out, asks a lot of questions, I tell everyone that I gave 1 month notice but its better for the "business" if we do not prolong it and I blame it all on the President (everyone already knew) he did not only screw me he also screwed everyone else who has no idea what's going on with my accounts and everyone else has been thrown into the mess because it means more work for everyone.

I laughed in his face when he had someone escort me out. But I was classy I gave everyone hugs and told them I will keep in touch, there are really only 2 people (the VP and a good friend that I made) that I will ever talk to again.

And its funny, driving away from that place made me feel free, relaxed and no worries.

Life is too short.

I am such a light weight!!

Serious, so I go to my doctors appointment, oh that reminds me I forgot to tell you what happened last time.
Anyways so I go and I know hes going to inject my spine again (Cortisone/steroids) so I act all tough but really in side I am freaking myself out (not only do I hate needles but they are going into my spine people, not the funniest of things on my list to do)
Anyways he does the first one into my neck/shoulder and hits a nerve mentions something about blood and then I wake up on the floor
"What happened?"
"Well I mentioned blood and you went limp"
"Serious?"
"Yeah well it happens to some people, its no big deal we will just wait a minute and finish up"

I sit up starting to feel a little less like I am stoned. The Dr gets me to stand up so he can do my lower spine, in goes the needle out goes my knees...

Yeah I passed out twice, as I was laying on the floor with the Dr. Holding my legs up over my head I was thinking

I can not make this shit up!

The cutest cat

Which is strange for me because I am not a cat person (I LOVE dogs). But this guy "Nigel" is so friggin cute and had such an attitude. Oh and if you notice he's cross eyed...lol
I think it makes him cuter. I have never seen a cross eyed cat in my life, lets just say he was my entertainment when I got drunk...I was convinced he was making funny faces at me.

The shoes

Ok the pictures do not do them justice..
They are FABULOUS!! I love them.. more to come I hope...

I know people...lol

I know I have mentioned it before, So about a year ago day 2 after Hurricane Katrina I am sitting (I was off work because of my injury) crying in front of the TV.
How could this happen?
Look at all those people?
My heart hurt and the hubby being ever whimsical in his advice said "well stop crying about it do something about it"
So I did I got up @ 7am and went down to The American Red Cross. I get there and everyone is piling in, people who have never met, people who just need to be doing something.
With my call center expertise and the phones ringing off the hook we made a make shift center to answer questions and sort of went about it as we went.

Then they asked me if I would go?
"Go to New Orleans?"
"Yes, they need people in the field out there, we are trying to send as many people as we can"
"Where do I sign?"

So I went home that night and brought the forms to fill out with me, I told the hubby what I was doing. He was a little in shock at first but he was excited for me to go, surprised that I would go on my own not knowing anyone else.
Then he told me that he would take his vacation time and come with me, he too feeling the need to do something. (thank goodness I think ahead and bring back 2 packs of forms)

Anyways, we went and we saw a lot of stuff that I would have never imagined. It was so emotional and mentally draining that the first night there I think we both feel asleep with our shoes on. But what it did do was teach us a lot about, "us" and ourselves, it pushed our own limits to the max.
I have a lot of good things to say and quite a bit of bad, a tragedy like that brings out the best and worst in people…

Anywho.. where I was going with all this (sorry I am a little emotional lately) we met some really great people when we there and we forged a bond with people that we met.
Its hard to go through something like that, to be part of something so big and not create that bond.

Some of the people we met that we call friends we got together with this weekend. There is something to be said about great friends that through a few emails during the year and then pick up where you left off. We drank had a BBQ in the Hollywood hills (serious I have the pictures to prove it) and it was a GREAT time.

Not that I like to "drop names" but here is what some of them do.

Senior Producer MGM Studios
Senior Producer MGM Studios
Senior Executive Public Relations Warnerbros Studios.
Executive Tours Fox Networks
Executive Public Relations Fox Networks

Anyways so Friday we (the hubby and I) have been invited to an executive tour of the Fox studios, we'll get to see the set of Standoff, CSI and a bunch of other Fox shows. Oh and the guy who is doing the tour is the one who gave me the shoes!! THE SWEET SHOES! See he also gets to take care of the sets and explained that they usually buy the shoes about 5 of the same pairs all different sizes and then once they have been on the show they get ride of them… (I swear I would date this man just for the shoes)
So lucky for me there were these FABULOUS shoes that I had to comment on.. turns out they did not fit his girl friend so he told me to take them
He made me PROMISE I would wear them (ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?)

Pictures to come.. I have to load all the camera stuff to my computer…. then its all going to change...

My dilemma...

So I am pretty fabulous right?

Ok so a long time ago (7-8 months ago) when I was medically released to go back to work I started to feverishly search all know means of finding a job. I went to the temp agency which was HELL
and I applied to just about anything that interested me.
Well on Tuesday I got a call from the City Office asking me to come in for an interview (I need to say how strange this is because its been 8 months since my first interview but with the County and the City things take FOREVER)
They ask me to come in on Thursday..Which I must say was quite strange as I was already leaving work early to go to a doctors appointment (I'll blog that later I can't make this shit up)
When they were trying to schedule a time with me I was trying to get them to do it after my Dr. appointment so work would not be any wiser.
I called 8 times (she asked me to keep calling back to see if they were at the 3pm interviews)
I called 5 more times and nothing, so she tells me to call at 3pm and she will see what she can do at this same time I told her "But I am FABULOUS you have to interview me!" half joking and making fun of myself. I am not even kidding I said this
So I call and she says Ok 2:30 it is.
So I leave work @ 12:30 for my 1:45 Dr appointment worried because the interview is across town.
I get to the office @ 1:08 (it always takes FOREVER at this Dr) my ass barely hits the chair and I am being called in. I was in and out WITH INJECTIONS TO MY SPINE in 25 minutes.
Shocked, I scoot across town to the City Hall building for my interview through tears because lets face it I just had 4 injections to my spine and its no picnic.
I cry in the car before I go in (the pain) I fix my makeup put on my favorite lipgloss and off I go.

I must say THEY LOVED ME. I got the job. Well not officially but pretty damn sure about it, she said she was SO happy she waited to interview me and she was SO glad I had gone last, I had all 4 of them laughing in the interview and they introduced me to people in the office.
Yeah pretty sure (that or I am just cocky)

So my dilemma is. Do I take it? See thing is its less money (not by much) and its closer to home (by 1/2 hour) and its with the City (once your in, you have to kill someone to get out)

See where I am, in the short 6 months I have been with them I like to think they like me, I mean I know they do, and I love what I do (not so much some of the people I work with but you get that anywhere) and I love the company. I am loyal to them.

I think I will wait till I get the "official" offer, then I will go to my company now and ask for more money and tell them why I want more money. If they fight for me (I hope they will, but who knows they just gave me a raise Sept 1)
I think I will stay (even though it means driving 1 hour to work and 1 hour home) if not City Office here I come

What would you do? (if anyone reads this shit)

Oh Gilmore girls

So I go to the gym tonight.
I walk in and there are two guys "pumping iron" (if you can call that its a small gym) and I walk in and I laugh out loud. Both TV's are off

They both stare at me.

Me "Ok I am so embarrassed do you guys mind if I watch Gilmore Girls?"

Two Boys starring at me blankly

Me "Well I just wanted to ask because both TV's are off I did not want to interrupt anything"

Two Boys "Um, well, yeah, no problem, sure, " Continue to stare at me like I am crazy

I turn on the TV and the boys ran away.

So I really get into the show (Season Premier I LOVE THIS SHOW) and this big burley guy all tatted up walks in and turns on the other TV which is MUCH louder than the one I have on and I can barely hear my TV.

I am thinking "You Fucking Jackass I was here first and now I can not even fucking hear my show"

He turns to me smiles and changes the channel to the Gilmore Girls.

I again laugh out loud

Funny how the strangest things make you laugh

Open letter to the women I work with

Dear Ladies,

Ok I have bitched about this before. I have even kindly asked (I am so serious that I did) I asked that because our toilet in the ladies bathroom does not really flush "great" all the time could you please make sure not to leave any surprises.
I AM SICK OF LOOKING AT YOUR SHIT
Or to the fine, classy lady who left her TAMPON (you dirty slut) for my viewing pleasure.
I mean WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE!!
Serious is it so hard to ask to check for floaters before you leave? I mean its bad enough to have to share 1 bathroom with all of you and somehow no matter what time of day I need to use it someone has just taken the B.I.G.G.E.S.T. stinkest ass shit know to man.
I will never claim that my shit don't stink but serious, if its that bad you should see your doctor.
Serious.
Oh and to the people who ALWAYS happen to walk by after I have done my business and swing open the door to cross paths with you I am in serious consideration of yelling out the door to make sure someone is not RIGHT there every time I shit. I never want anyone to smell me, and I know I can not even try to hide how guilty I am on my face, the look of "surprise" on my face that I would run into someone I work with right outside the door of the bathroom and I can not even look at you or say anything... umm yeah.. I just shit... And I do not know why that bugs me... but it does..

So Puh.lease. Ladies get it together. Flush twice if you have to (I know its a lot to ask) but its not high school, nore do we live in a frat house and its considered "cool" or "narly" to show other people your shit.
I appreciate it.
Thanks

This was funny! How accurate!

Your Job Dissatisfaction Level is 51%

Well, you don't have the worst job in the world, but it's not great.
And don't worry, you're not the problem - your company is.
Start looking around for another job, even if you're not totally fed up.
Because in time, you're going to be dying to quit!

I left work sick today... Again

My friggin back keeps bugging me so it makes my neck hurt, which is return gives me bloody headaches.
Friggin hell.

I L.O.V.E.D. Greys Anatomy last night. This is going to be SUCH a GREAT SEASON!! (did you cry? I so cried)

I am SO excited for my cousins visit.

Flight booked- Check

Vegas hotel on the strip- Check

Thursday, September 21, 2006

A great day!!

So excited about Grey's Anatomy tonight!!!!

Oh and finally its confirmed that my baby cousin will be here Oct 27-Nov 7th. So much to do and plan!! Trust me when I say there will be lots of debauchery and fun drunk falling down stories. Of coarse without question we will need to go to Vegas and I think she is scared. I mean I would be scared too if I had NEVER been on vacation or "technically" outta Canada, and lets face it she's coming to see me… sooo…. well I am just saying I can be one crazy cat.

True story

Baby cousin "I am scared really?"

Me "Why? Just because we have INSANE highways that people get shot at on for no apparent reasons, crack heads, and RUDE people, oh and the airport (LAX) is INSANE really, why would you be scared? I mean it’s a daily thing"

Baby cousin

Me "Serious, I mean depending on where we go there should not be TOO many crack heads?"

This is going to be fun!! Wait till she sees Vegas..lol

And will get to go to the ocean because she's never been and I have not been IN WAY TOO LONG. Its strange never living near an ocean then you move to the ocean and the only time you visit the ocean is when people visit. I am going to have to work on that.

Bastards at the credit card company

So we all get them in the mail. And having called in sick to work the other day I had a little time on my hands.
I actually read one of the offers. The travel one. Currentley the hubby and I have been collection airmiles for the last 6 years (2 years we lived in different countrys) so we have quite a few points. Well awhile back the hubby got a card that all the money spent turned into airmiles.
Cool.
So the offer I was reading was for the same card he had but with my airmiles number. But I read through the WHOLE offer.
The bastards failed to mention that for the last 4 years we have been using the hubbys card that with it one of the benifits is 2 $99 flights anywhere in the world PER YEAR.
WHAT THE FUCK
The amount we use the card and the amount of points we have (enough to fly anywhere the airline goes) they never once since the hubby had the card mentioned these HUGE discounted flights.
Bastards.
So I ordered a card with my number and I.AM.Going.TO.Milk.IT!!
Oh yeah. Every chance I get

Why I love my dad! And some explanation why I am crazy

Hey Girl:

Many thanks to both of you for the birthday card. The
stuff inside was a suprise as well as a mess. I got it
all over the floor.

James, Jen and I went to skydive yesterday. Jen and
James made their jumps fromm 11,500 feet and were both
happy they did it. Jen got sick after she was on the
ground but still enjoyed it. I unfortunately got up to
five thousand feet and had parts of the plane fall off
so we couldn't get the door closed. By the time we
landed, the weather had clouded over and the jumps
were put on hold. I am going back next Sat. to do
mine. You would think at 51 I would be looking at
bingo or something a little calmer instead of jumping
out of a perfectly good plane at over 2 miles up. Well
I guess some of us never grow up.

Miss you guys. Hope everything is ok with you. Talk to
you real soon.

Love, the old and still stupid guy

This is one of my favorite pictures from my wedding. Me my sis, and dad.

BAD DRIVERS NO MORE!!

Ok I have pondered this for MANY frustrated hours. The hubby helped but his solution is that we should all have permission to just shoot bad drivers.
Serious just blow them away.

But I have thought up a solution. One that is not so brash as to take human life.
Ok so here it is. The right to bare arms.
All drivers should be aloud to have a paint ball gun in there car.

If you get cut off. Poof you get to shoot that car.

If the cars do not merge doing at least 65 onto the highway. You get shot.

If for any reason other than a small child dashing into the highway and you SLAM on your brakes. You get shot.

If you are doing less than 65 on the highway. You get shot.

If you wait till you are half way passed your exit and decide that YOU MUST do whatever it takes cutting off 4 cars in your hurry. You get shot

So this would MAKE people have to wear there shame. Serious it would be all out there for the world to see you are and IDIOT and not just an idiot a BAD DRIVER! So very scarlet letter of me

Who HATES more than anything than to be a bad driver?

Oh and its all set up for the Gov too. IF you have more than 3 shots against you (I have said 3 because lets face it some times we do stupid shit, we are not paying attention for a split second or whatever ), you have to pay a fine. Something stupid like $729. It would make a lot more people pay FRIGGIN ATTENTION ON THE ROADS!!! (this would be fined weekly. And if you could not pay, your car does not work)
And if you get fined more than 3 times your car does not start for you. Or your husband or friends cars will not start for you either. You are BANNED from the roads for 6 months.
And if you continue to re-offend then you never drive again. Simple

If you impede the flow of traffic because you and your dumb ass MINIVAN feel you have the right to drive in the fast lane doing 45. You get shot.
If you cut me off, where its OBVIOUS that I am going faster than you and cause be to almost hit you. You get shot.
You cause an accident. You do not pass go, you immediately lose your driving privileges for 6 months. (have you ever notice that its ALWAYS the same people getting into accidents)

Oh and if you are a GOOD driver (as we all believe we are) you also get rewards. While the GOV gets to keep most of the money as a good driver you are award a small appreciation check (maybe free gas I have not thought about this part too much)

If you talk on your cell phone, while doing 40 on the highway. You get shot.

If you block the traffic (well you and the other ASSHOLE) and then when the highway opens up and you now want to drive 90 so the 15 cars that have been stuck behind for the last fuckin 4 miles have to race you to get in front of you. You get shot.

I think I am on to something here. (ha ha can you tell how much thought was put into this?)

What do you think??

Secrets

I have been keeping a secret.
My birthday is in 2 weeks and I "that person" you know the one who starts the count down 3 months before hand that there birthday is coming up and by the time it gets here you just want to strangle the person.
This year is weird though. I am not sure if I am under the weather or what's wrong with me.
Maybe its cause I am pushing 30?
29 is a little daunting to me really
Not sure why…

October 1.

Oh but I am excited the hubby is coming home tonight and he's bringing me a surprise. I LOVE SURPRISES, although I am one of those people who can not keep a surprise. AT ALL. If I have a surprise for you I usually spill because I get SO excited about it…

I am nuts…. I have come to terms with this..

One more sleep

Ok call me a cheese ball but I REALLY miss my hubby. He has only been gone one night and will be back on Friday
I will admit that I quite enjoyed the WHOLE bed to myself, no snoring, no being beat with a pillow in the middle of the night.

But the cons out weigh the pros.

No kiss good morning.
No warm spot to roll over into when he gets up (5:00am)
No lingering of his cologne when he hugs me good bye
No kisses good night
No snuggles
No one to debate the "shows" good and bad points
No checking him out as he leaves (he is SO friggin cute all done up for work)

**Sigh**
One more sleep and hes home

Remembering - Robert Francis Mace

This day we will always remember... An idea to unite the blogging world to have each victim honored The 2996 Project

Robert Francis Mace who's life was lost September 11th, 2001.

This is his brothers tribute.

You have been taken from us, but you live on in our hearts and memories

Each of us carries within a recollection of you that will never fade

A little leaguer that wore a Tom Seaver card tucked inside his cap

The competitor that always found a way to win, even if it meant changing the rules a bit

Of us two, the person whose backside finally broke the yellow paddle

The son that mowed down Dad's newly planted trees on his 1st trip on the riding tractor

Playing through the deluge of Hurricane Agnes with running leaps, landing on our stomachs to glide over the pools of water all over the yard

Building a baseball diamond with posts, chicken wire and lawn mowers wherever the farmer would grant us space for our "Field of Dreams"

Riding our bikes with fury at the sound of Dad's shrill whistle, knowing
that 5 minutes was the limit before time expired for dinner

The traveler who took mom on a virtual trip of Munich through the internet

The brash young attorney who quips a helicopter trip would close the deal in time

The Eagles fan whose voice grew hoarse with each passing quarter

The not so handyman whose best work was letting someone else do it

The uncle holding his nephew and niece with the love, play and smile of a parent.

A would be John Grisham novelist, penning his 1st legal thriller

The perennial kid even at 43, hustling off for a week of tennis camp

Though difficult to fight the emotion and bewilderment of loss, there is so much more to smile over and reminisce that it dries my tears and nearly makes me chuckle.

You will be missed, Rob, my brother, but my images of you are indelible

Ken Mace, Brother

I have been given and STD

By my dear friend Ms. Snarky Girl

Three people who make me laugh
1. Hubby
2. Salinna
3. Myself (fucking hell I am always laughing at myself)

Three things I can do
1. Sleep in (I am SO great at this)
2. the splits
3. Cry at just about anything

Three things I can't do
1. Live in 2 different countries at once
2. Be mad, or have people mad at me (not caring what they think is one thing but if I care about you then I am REALLY bad at being, or having you mad at me)
3. Speak 3 languages (I would love to learn Arabic and Spanish)

Three things I'm doing right now

ITS A FUCKING LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP

My mother.
She called tonight. See now you are about to find out WAY TOO much information about my real life, and my mother.
Before I start let me just say that I do love her. But I also HATE the way she is some times!! (well lets be honest most of the time)

Ok so we are chatting about life and everything and she asks about the hubby and I

Mom "So how are things with you and the hubby?"

Me "Things are great mom, I can not believe its been 3 years already. I am so lucky to have found such a great man that makes me so happy"

Mom - Long Pause "Yeah well"

Me "What?"

Mom "Well you know, its only been 3 years, I mean 3 years is nothing in what a lifetime that marriage is supposed to be"

Me "what's that supposed to mean? Hubby and I have been together for 8 years actually, not 3, we have been married for 3 but we dated for 2 1/2 years, we were engaged for 2, now 3 years of marriage. We will have been together for 8 years in February"

Mom "Well I am just saying"

Me "What, what are you just saying are you still convinced that "I am making the biggest mistake of my life?" mom have you not gotten over that yet? Can you not just be happy that I am happy? Can you not just say you are happy I have found someone that I love to death and who loves me back, no questions asked? Do you remember how when I called you through tears to share my joy with you and told you I was getting married, do you remember you were the first person I called because I KNEW it would mean the world to you and all you had to say was I was making the biggest mistake I ever will in my life, and we did not talk for 7 months? Do you remember how much that hurt me, and how long it took me to get over that. And the man I married is the one who with much argument FOUGHT with me to call you to make sure every thing was made right before the wedding?" (because as it stood she was not going to be invited, Oh and she's been a wedding co-ordinator for 15 years)

Mom "Well I do not remember it quite like that, and I still think maybe it might have not been the best decision"

Me "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? Your being serious right? That after 8 years you STILL THINK I am making a mistake, I wish for one minute mom you could see us together and see how great we are for each other and how we make each other so happy"

Mom "Well you did not really give me that chance did you?" (I must add here that she's still angry with me that I moved 3000 miles away from her)

Me "I have to go I love you"

I AM SO FRIGGIN ANGRY!!! I mean its not even that she does not like the hubby, she claims she does and my dad and him get along better than anything. It just really irks me that after all this time she would still get under my skin like this.

Oh and guess who calms me down after I vent that I hate the women and I feel like I am going to cry (its only my mother that can get me SO ANGRY LIKE THIS!!).

Hubby does, explaining she's still upset that I moved away, and that I have to understand that she had had 2 failed marriages and she's single so she's just jealous.

AASHHHHHHH FUCK!

So now it all begins (or ends depending on how you look at it)

So I am officially a FOOTBALL WIDOW.
The hubby and the BIL have ordered NFL Sunday ticket , which to me means that on Sundays and Mondays I will be ignored. I have come to terms with this.
They are both HUGE football fans and I am WELL AWARE that the first game is tonight.
**sigh***
What will I do with myself? I mean these boys LOVE football so much that even if I walked around naked neither would notice (not that I would do that) However I do get away with more during football season.
I tell him I am bored and he tells me to go shopping, which of coarse I do and then when I come home with all my buys he just looks at me and sighs.... Ha ha he feels guilty so I can buy shoes and purses... (I think I secretly LIKE this football season)

So football season begins.
I should start a club. Football widow club. Sundays for coffee anyone?

Now I know for sure

That everyone at work hates me.
But that's ok. I dislike most of them too.
Maybe they are still mad I got "superstar" fired.
Maybe they are mad that they payed there dues and I step on there toes (actually to be honest I dance all over them).

How do I know?

There are 5 of us in one office.

One of the girls got engaged over a week ago

I found out by asking when I saw the ring???

Small thing, yeah but we are women, all women. Seems strange everyone would know but me

And then whisper about it when I ask, as if I was supposed to know

Fuck them Ha ha it's entertaining really

Open for discussion~

Cold case.
Did anyone else see it Sunday Night? Ok I'll sum up one part of it. (this was not the basis of the show it was a little "side" thing that happened within the show)

One detective (female) mentions that she has notices that there is a man at the park where her daughter plays and he REALLY creeps her out. She says he's always there and he is pretending to read a book, but is really watching the children.
He tells her that he will look into it, and goes to the park. There is a man sitting there in the park on a bench with a book watching the kids. He approaches him and sits on the bench with him.
"So which child is yours?"
"No I am just reading, I am here alone"
"We'll I would pick the one in the blue t-shirt, he's a bit of a loner and has no friends. It looks like you would prefer the little blond boy but he's too athletic and popular so there would be no way you could without a big fight"
The man just stares back at him.
The detective then walks behind the bench and grabs the man by the throat and tells him NEVER to come back her again.
The female detective reports that the man was gone for only one day and now he was back.
The detective goes back to the park and finds the man talking to a young boy.
He then proceeds to kick the shit out of the man.

Discussion ensues.

Me "I would have killed him!!"
Hubby "that's not right, technically he has done nothing wrong"
Me" I know that's why the detective beat the shit outta the guy because he knew that he could not arrest him on "suspicion of wanting to molest a child"
Hubby " Its still not right, Fucked up but not right"
Me "So if that was your child, your boy or girl that this strange man was talking to your telling me you would not have killed them?"
Hubby "No, I would have MADE HIM UNDERSTAND that he was never to come back"
Me "that's what the detective did, what if you had done the same thing and came back to the park the next day and that man was talking to your 7 year old daughter, or 7 year old son, your telling me you would be "calm" and collected.
He turns to me "Yeah your right I would probably fucking kill him, or maybe not kill him, just maim him for the rest of his life and prevent him from ever using his cock again"

I feel REALLY strongly about this matter and I usually do not get into politics and what's right ect. But I do believe that ANYONE who hurts or molests a child should be put to death.
A strong opinon I know but even the courts have proved that child molesters are UNTREATABLE and 80% re-offend. If this is proven then why do the courts let these fucking sicos out? 80% is a HUGE number of people walking the streets waiting to re-offend.
This whole thing makes me sick! Its so IMPORTANT to know and regularly check the sex offender lists in your areas.

You can check your list for your state her FBI Sex Offender Registry

I NEED TO WARN YOU!!

THE WICKERMAN WAS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME!!!

And I would not steer you wrong. The titles say "intellectual thriller"
MY ASS!!
The plot was bad, the acting was bad...

0 * out of 5...

Save your money don't even rent it. Wait till its on cable. (Serious THAT BAD)
You can read more BAD reviews about it at Rotten Tomatoes

An Idea that is so much bigger than any of us know

So there is this guy, who had an idea that is so big.
He put out a call to arms for 2,996 bloggers. That on the anniversary of September 11th to remember the lives of all the people killed in the terrorist attack on the US.

The goal is that on 9/11 all the bloggers that have been assigned to a victim will have a tribute post for them on there blog.

I have been assigned victim #538. Read more about it HERE

He has just posted that ALL 2,996 victims have been assigned. I went through the list (through tears) I caught lots of names of people I recognize in our blog community.

Its good to be part of something that is bigger than you are.

Long Weekend Here I COME!!!

So everyone and there dogs are on vacation which means I get to come into work early then leave early.. WEEHOO which is cool with me because it’s a LONG WEEKEND!!
What's not cools is
~ Getting up when its still dark
~ Not being a coffee drinker (cause lets face it 5am is FUCKING EARLY)

Good things about it…
~Going home early for the long weekend
~ Have 1 whole hour in the morning where YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE HERE!! Well except for the roaches under your desk and you have come to terms with them (you change the trap regularly to avoid parties on the bug strip)
~ Did I mention one whole hour alone?
