So ironically enough we are having a blizzard tonight. Rumor has it 5 inches tonight.... Ugg damn ground hog!

A little about me.
(I am quite the character)



I started blogging 7 years ago. I am from Canada and was getting married

and moving to the US so I starting blogging as a way for friends and family to keep up with what was going on in our lives.

Over the last 4 years I am not even sure any of my family still has the link. Its more of a chronically of my shoe purchases, my adorable dog




that we rescued named Daisy and the day to day issues that go on in this Canadians stuck in the US world.

I am married to my best friend for 6 1/2 years we LOVE to travel,



I refer to him as "the hubby" although I post pictures of myself from time to time I have since gone "semi anon" from working in Human Resources. Although I no longer work in the field I just like to be a little private about our lives.

I rant, I rave I tell the stories of our so called life! I also have taken up the title of coupon extraordinaire and its SO MUCH FUN!

$2.30 Oh yeah I am getting good!!!

All this stuff for $2.30 PLUS I got $10 back to spend back at Walgreens... This is so fun!

And what am I going to do with 36 Dove deodorants? I am going to donate them of coarse!

But I am also going to do up a SUPER SPECIAL surprise basket of a bunch of my favorite things!

Hi, my name is Random and I am an addict!

I am an addict.

To coupons.

I LOVE them.. Love, love, love them. I love getting up early on Sundays (and I am a HUGE sleeper I love to sleep in.. not on Sundays) I get up and go out to buy the paper to see the new coupons.

I love getting them organized, sorted. Going through all the flyers to see the deals for the week.

Love it.

Well one of them anyways... this is just the "cleaning over stock"

See all this stuff? Yep $8 at Kmart this week. It was double coupon week.... And I got $17 back in kmart dollars to use back in the store!


And I wend to Kmart EVERY DAY. 2 times a day, I used so many coupons this week that I think I may be couponed out a little....

And the other overstock? I have about 30 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, body wash, tooth paste, and floss sitting in a box ready to head off as a donation to a church.....

This is SO addicting.. and fun.. I would be lying if I was not walking through kmart and eyeing other peoples carts and asking them if they have a coupon for that? And if they did not I gave them one and told them about the doubles!!

Ok is this not the MOST fabulous thing you have seen in awhile? It was IN THE BATHROOM AT THE BAR!!!

Brilliant! So smart.. I wish I would have though of this! (and if your wondering why its $2 and no place to put bills... in Canada we do not have $1 or $2 bills they are coins called Loonies and toonies)


And then see that? Under the chair?


This guy thought I was crazy, but all the chairs in the airport have spaces to plug your laptop!! So smart...




And then I had nothing to do with this... I mean all I did was hold the camera... And I maybe had the candy in my purse.. but as soon as word got about the candy all the ground hogs came out...

Secret Santa!!

I have been so busy I kept forgetting to load my pictures....


AM was kind enough to organize the bloggy secret santa thing this year and LOOK WHAT I GOT!!!




And I have NO IDEA who my Santa was... I would think now that it is all done we could tell each other?

I LOVE this Christmas ornament not sure if my secret Santa knows but I collect these... The hubby and I get one everywhere we travel.. I have been looking for a shoe FOREVER!!

And this is the beautiful bracelet that was in the pretty packaging...

Look at the detail in the bracelet I have worn it already and received a few compliments.. Totally suits me!

Ok WAY back when I found a book at a yard sale I think and I remember posting about bookcrossing.com?

So I have thought of my "contest" lets say. Its easy to enter all you need to do is email me your home address and I will send you one of my favorite books that I will hand select from my collection!!!

All I ask that you do is when you receive my book that you read it and re-release it back into the wild. I love this site and I try to leave books I have read all over the place and I thought this was a really great way to get my books out!!! Not to mention the husband will love that I am thinning out my collection..... Until garage sale season again is upon us...lol
